The End Is Nigh

Hey Everyone!

These last two weeks have been the fastest and most action-packed weeks yet. We made a couple trips into Charlotte, worked and sweat like crazy, ran to an unusual amounts of lessons, and laughed louder than ever. I absolutely love my mission!

I now understand why returned missionaries are always so tired. This last week I have been so much more exhausted than ever before on my mission, which is strange because the work hasn’t really gotten any more difficult or physically intense. I can remember times on my mission when I spent whole weeks working in much more difficult heat, humidity, and hills, but not feeling nearly this tired. I’m convinced that the Lord is trying to help me realize just how much he has lifted and helped me each day over these last two years. Ironically this time when I am perhaps not receiving as much strength from my Heavenly Father, has been a time of great Spiritual growth as I look back with great appreciation on all of the days he has blessed me in ways that I completely failed to recognize.

I’m looking forward to the extremely bittersweet experience I will have later this week as I leave to return home, and I know the Lord will be with me every step of the way!

I love you all and want you to know that this Church is true. Jesus Christ did live and walk this earth. He died that we all may live again some day. He has prepared the way for us to return to our Father in Heaven and live with him in everlasting Joy. I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the restored church of Jesus Christ and is lead by Christ himself through a living prophet of God. I love the joy that this gospel brings, and I hope you all get to experience that joy someday!

Until next time,
Elder Klingler
