Happy Fathers Day!

Hey Everyone!

This week was really fun. Elder Turner and I get a long really well and have lots of fun! He’s definitely a country boy and has lots of wild stories to prove it! It’s getting pretty hot now and the humidity has just been getting thicker and thicker! Luckily we had the car this last week, so we weren’t too bad off.

We had our first District Council of the transfer this week and it was a lot of fun! Everyone in our district is very unique, but they all have super strong testimonies and some of the best insights into missionary work! I really look forward to getting to work with them for the rest of the transfer! Next Monday we will be getting together to play volleyball which should be a blast!

Yesterday was Fathers Day and it lead me to a lot of contemplation. Our Fathers do so much for us (Heavenly Father included) and I’ve been trying to figure out how one could possibly pay their father back. Turns out that you really cant! I am so grateful to have a knowledge of a Heavenly Father that loves us so much, and has the power to show that love for us in infinite ways. I am also honored to say that I have a Father here on earth that exemplifies these same qualities to the best of his abilities. What a guy. I hope to be like him someday.

Tomorrow we have a zone conference with our area 70, Elder Shayne Bowen, so I’m super excited for that! Here in Fort Mill they are building a ton of new housing developments every week so we are constantly out knocking on doors! Its fun though because we are the first missionaries to ever knock on a lot of these doors, but with it getting hotter we’ve been having to take more and more breaks to cool off.

I hope y’all have a great week!

Until next week,
Elder Klingler

3. We didn’t have a dinner on Saturday so my companion made Jambalaya with some Crawfish we bought on PDay. It was really good!
4. Thanks to the rule change I got to call in yesterday and wish my Dad a Happy Fathers Day! Love you Dad!
