Interviews, Sushi, and Wilford Woodruff Day

Hey y’all!

This week flew by for me this week because just so much happened!

I got the amazing opportunity (just like every transfer) to have interviews with my Mission President this week, and I absolutely loved it! He is such an amazing and inspired man. Due to the nature of his calling, President Adler has gotten very good at listening to, and acting on, promptings from the spirit. I asked him what advice he had for me to help me do the same, and he told me a most simple truth. If you want to recieve revelation on how to help somone, you need to love them. You need to have a heartfelt love for them and their welfare, spiritually or temporally. That is how a parent’s prayers for their children are answered. That is how his prayers about us are answered. It is the only way that my prayers will be answered about the amazing people we are teaching out here! Love is key.

After our interviews we went on an exchange with the Elders in the neighboring ward and had a great time. I got to bring Elder Tobler here and we had such a blast! I’m really grateful for all the great friends I’ve made and learned from out here.

Finally, on Saturday, we did a Wilford Woodruff day. That means we left our apartment at 9am and worked all day until 9pm doing nothing but finding all day long. It also happened to be one of the hottest days of the year so far! It was super fun and tiring, but it also totally payed off because we found 2 new people to teach from it!

I hope you all have an amazing week!

Until next week,
Elder Klingler
