A “Crazy” Busy Week!

Hey Everybody!

So much has happened this week! Im not even sure where to start…

On Thursday we had a huge Zone Conference with four zones! All four of those zones were the zones that I’ve served in so I got to see a lot of familiar faces! It was really fun to get to catch up with everyone. It was also the first time I got to see my MTC companion Elder Buss since we got to the mission a year ago! It was really bittersweet though because the reason we all came together was so our mission president, President Alexander, could say some final remarks and tell us all goodbye. He will be heading home this Friday and President Adler will replace him that same day!

We also made an interesting visit to a mental hospital, which was a first for me! The guy we visited was very nice, and all of the staff too. The exciting part was when the sirens started to go off because someone escaped! Never a dull moment!

On Sunday I had the opportunity to give a talk on Charity and it was a really neat experience. The greatest part, however, was the talk after me by Brother Watson and he made some incredible comments. Most profoundly, he said that we as members of the church serve as “buckets” to deliver the spirit to those in need. We need to evaluate ourselves and make sure our buckets are full so that we are prepared to help others when we see someone in need. I just thought I would share that with y’all, because it really hit me when he said that.

Until next week,
Elder Klingler

1. An activity from Zone Conference where we had to use some random pieces and work together to properly plan and build a house. We clearly won.
2. This super creepy life size thing was sitting on the porch of a house that we tried to knock on, and it spooked us so bad when we first saw it!
3. A really cool sunset (I think I like sunsets, haha)
4. Our pet coyote that lives in the field next to our apartment and walks around all day as happy as can be.
