Happy Thanksgiving

Hey everyone!

This week has been a lot of fun! We had the privilege to help someone move on Thanksgiving morning, which helped us work up an appetite before our thanksgiving lunch at a members house. The food was so good and she had made a myriad of pies for us to sample too! Having stuffed ourselves, they gave us a bunch of left overs to take home. We threw them in the fridge and then drove to the house of another member who had invited us over for a second thanksgiving meal. We practically had to roll ourselves back into our appartment haha. At this point we could barely close our fridge because it was so full of left overs.

This week’s miracle story is a little different, because we got to be the miracle for someone else. On Saturday we felt prompted to take all of our leftovers, and I mean all of them, and took them with us down to Chester. We visited an investigator named Jeffery and found out that money was too tight for them this year to have a Thanksgiving meal, so we went out to our car and brought in all of our food so they could atleast have a late thanksgiving. Nothing was quite as sweet as seeing their faces all light up when we stepped through the door with that food. Nothing will make you feel better then how you feel when you are serving others, that I promise you.

Also I guess we did the right thing because about an hour later we visited another woman in Chester who had spent three days cooking for thanksgiving and wouldn’t let us leave until she loaded us up with a bunch of her left overs and totally restocked us haha.

I love all of you and I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving!

Until next week,
Elder Klingler

Oh and sorry for the lack of pictures!
